Introducing our first ever Brain Friday sale:

How to Coach Yourself:
The Feminist Mindset Fix

Learn the basics of feminist self-coaching, quickly

Master the tools to manage your mind, rewire beliefs, and create powerful change in your life and world — no matter what is happening around you.

Sometimes it’s geopolitics throwing you for a loop. (Hello, election results anyone?)

Sometimes it’s a lot closer to home.

But no matter what is making you feel anxious, overwhelmed, or disempowered — the solution starts in your mind.

Do you sometimes feel like the voice in your head is running amok?

It’s constantly telling you what you’re doing wrong, what you need to change, and why probably everyone you’ve ever met doesn’t really like you that much.

On some level, you know it’s not always right. But it’s still so hard to ignore.

Kara Loewentheil whispering a secret to a sculpture bust.

You might hear it when…

You briefly stop doomscrolling the news to spend time with loved ones, but you feel … guilty. The voice pipes up: “What right do YOU have to feel happy right now? The world is on fire!”

Your first response to a crisis is to jump into “helper mode,” managing everyone’s emotions and figuring out action steps … but you’ve noticed lately it’s burning you out. “You’re so selfish for thinking that,” the voice tells you. “Helping people is the one thing you’ve got going for you!”

You close your laptop at 5 p.m. to leave for the girls’ night happy hour you’ve missed every week since August. The voice sneers: “What do you think you’re doing? You promised your boss you’d have that report done by Friday. You’re always so behind on everything.”

Your daughter tells you she was the only kid at school without homemade cookies for the bake sale. You know that isn’t true (other moms told you they bought their baked goods too), but that voice is back again: “A real mom could juggle her job, her kids and make the best damn German chocolate cupcakes from scratch.”

Why do these thoughts pop up?

You’re a strong feminist and probably very busy woman.

You know you’re doing your best but it never feels like you’re doing enough.

WTF is wrong with you … ?

The answer? Nothing.

That voice, and those thoughts, aren’t reality.

They’re a product of women’s social conditioning under patriarchy, that creates a thought and behavior pattern I call “over-responsibility.”

Over-responsibility = the knee-jerk need women develop to manage (read: control) everything around them to feel safe and worthy.

Translation?

Those thoughts are just stories you’re telling yourself — not because they’re true, but because a sexist society hellbent on keeping women exhausted, “in their place,” and over-responsible for everyone around them has drilled them into you over and over.

But here’s the good news:

You have the power to change your thoughts, quiet that voice, and shift your over-responsibility reaction permanently.

And I can teach you exactly how to do it.

It’s called thought work, a self-coaching tool that helps you completely rewire your brain and beliefs, and create a life that doesn’t fry you.

(And, of course, gives patriarchy the middle finger.)

It’s more important than ever that women learn these fundamentals.

And so, while it’s normally only available to students inside my Feminist Self-Help Society membership (and it’s the only course they’re required to take upon joining) …

I’ve made my signature “self-coaching 101” course available to the public from November 14th – 17th ONLY.

The world feels very unpredictable right now.

It’s more important than ever that we can control our own thoughts, feelings, and resilience.

Available November 14-17 only.

When you click that link and purchase this mini-course as part of our Brain Friday sale, you’ll also be gifted the recordings of our live Feminist Mindset Fix Bootcamp from earlier this year.

These recordings will give you access to extra coaching insights, common questions and answers, and more examples of new thoughts to think.

This mini course is the foundation of all the work that I do.

This is the most important thing you can learn from me:

How to coach yourself.

Instead of paying an expensive life coach to show you how to change your life in a series of 1:1 sessions with the price tag of a new car, you’ll learn all the tools you need to change your life yourself.

Inside How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix, you’ll learn:

:: What thought patterns cause negative emotions and how to change them.

:: How to get through challenging emotions with more ease, faster.

:: How to actually change the habits you keep telling yourself you’ll get around to (nail-biting, yelling at your kids, emotional eating).

:: How to decide what you want to think, feel, and DO, and make it happen.

INSIDE IS EVERYTHING you need to reset your brain and take back control of your thoughts — and your life.

Here’s how the lessons break down:

Lesson 1 – Thoughts vs. Circumstances: What Causes Anxiety and Other Emotions

Learn to isolate which thoughts are sparking certain emotions in your brain (like overwhelm, panic, and the need to procrastinate) so you can learn to stop the cycle.

Lesson 2 – Feeling Feelings: How to Turn Down the Emotional Volume

Practice facing your emotions head on — without letting them take over. This is the key to ending the avoiding your emotions by helping everyone >> getting overwhelmed >> burning out >> slipping into panic mode cycle.

Lesson 3 – Actions and Returns: How to Change Your Behavior

Explore the relationship between actions and returns, so you can start to understand why certain patterns in your life repeat, and how to shift them permanently. (This lesson might just bow your mind!)

Lesson 4 – New Thoughts, Feelings, & Models: How to Create Any Life Outcome You Want:

This is where you put it all together, and kickstart your road to changing your life by changing your thoughts.

From there, the sky’s the limit!

How I felt changed!"
"For me, the first, and most powerful proof that self-coaching and its tools are extraordinarily valuable was using them while re-submitting my PhD. I wrote, submitted and defended my thesis twice – once without access to life coaching, and once with. Navigating the same set of circumstances twice – but the second time completely differently as I had access to coaching and Kara's work, and then being able to create a different result, by managing my mind on purpose, sold me on the value of the tools. As a result, how I felt changed. I began getting different results in areas of my life which I had felt perpetually stuck, overwhelmed and defeated. I became my favorite version of me."

"[I'm] decreasing a lot of the chatter in my head about other people!"
"I just completed How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix — and I'm proud of myself. It feels really good to follow through on a commitment I made to myself. And I've already started to feel better.

The biggest takeaway I had is decreasing a lot of the chatter in my head about other people. There's still stuff to work on but I’m excited to have my eyes more open now.😁😁🤗🤗"

"The teachings have helped me so much already. "
"The teachings have helped me so much already. The major breakthrough from How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix that I think everyone experiences is to actually feel my feelings instead of avoiding them. It has been so helpful, especially in my high-pressure moments of being the primary caregiver to my toddler when I am overstimulated by her or enraged at something my husband did/didn’t do that in the moment I perceive as the one thing that is making my life difficult. I am so much more open to feeling my feelings while also not necessarily buying into the thoughts that accompany them."

Could your life be different before the end of the year?

Absolutely.

You can find out for yourself when you buy the How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix mini course.

And to make sure you get the most out of your investment?

When you click that link and purchase this mini course as part of our Brain Friday sale, you’ll also be gifted the recordings of our live Feminist Mindset Fix Bootcamp from earlier this year.

These recordings will give you access to extra coaching insights, common questions and answers, and more examples of new thoughts to think.

Still have questions? We’ve got answers.

How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix is a mini course that will teach you the basics of thought work.

You’ll literally learn how to train your brain to think better thoughts, including how to stop taking over-responsibility for everyone and everything around you, and take self-responsibility seriously.

No. Normally this course is ONLY accessible as part of my ongoing membership program, The Feminist Self-Help Society.

This is a very time-limited opportunity to grab it on its own, and have a bite-sized experience of thought work.

For only $49, you can access How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix on your own schedule and your own terms — but only if you enroll by November 17.

This is such a common question — and please don’t take this personally, but I think it’s the wrong question to ask. Women are so quick to “should” themselves into things. It’s not a question of should. It’s a question of want.

  • Do you WANT to feel more productive instead of overwhelmed?
  • Do you WANT to set boundaries instead of people-please?
  • Do you WANT to enjoy a break instead of feeling guilty?

If those are things you want, then that’s what matters. And that’s what How to Coach Yourself: The Feminist Mindset Fix will provide by teaching you the foundation of thought work and self-coaching.

I’ve made it as easy as possible to learn these tools. You have multiple formats available (video, audio, and transcripts) so you can learn the way you do best. And each lesson is short and concise.

But listen, there’s no magic spell that will absolutely ensure you do the entire mini course perfectly.

What I can promise is that if you wait to be sure you can do everything perfectly, you’ll never get the chance to grow.

I’ve chosen to be willing to go for things even when I’m not sure if I will do them right or they will work, and to be willing to consider any improvement or growth a victory.

And that’s gotten me pretty damn far in life. I recommend you give it a try too. 😉
