You all must know that I have some pretty unshakeable confidence, right? I mean, that’s kind of the point of being a confidence coach. But a recent experience in France reminded me that we’re only as confident as our thoughts. And our thoughts don’t change like magic, we have to practice the thoughts we want to believe and sometimes we have to believe harder than we are.
I’m answering more of the listener questions. I talk about dealing with your past regrets, body image, speaking your truth, mending (or not) relationships, dealing with recurring thoughts, and much more!
How do you avoid the vicious cycle of self-loathing and buffering that can accompany your well-intentioned self care activities? By understanding and practicing true self care, not seeking dopamine hits from illusory pleasures that don’t really create any long-term changes in our lives.
I answer questions on the topics of managing “toxic” family members around your kids, thought management around physical touch, controlling your mind around uncontrollable circumstances, and more.
