The fact is there will always be people who have totally opposite opinions and views of the world to you, and when it comes to sexism, there are people who believe women are inherently less worthy or inferior because of their gender. I’m sharing an interview I did with one of my students, Amanda Kingsley. She coaches women post-abortion on making peace with their choices and working through the complex thoughts and feelings they experience, and I’m so grateful she’s doing this work. The discussion around abortion is so polarized that there’s really no space for women to discuss the negative emotions they might have, and this is an incredibly important subject to talk about publicly to desensitize and unfuck our brains in the wake of this decision.
